Salesforce has integrated its SalesforceIQ intelligence product with Microsoft Outlook, widely recognised as the most used business email programme globally with over 400 million users.

The integration of SalesforceIQ to Microsoft’s email systems marks another step in the ongoing partnership between both companies.

SalesforceIQ Inbox for Outlook is available for Salesforce Sales Cloud users for a monthly fee of $25. Users can transform their email into a modern CRM app.

SalesforceIQ Inbox transforms inboxes by linking their email, Salesforce CRM and customer social data.

The relationship intelligence technology of SalesforceIQ connects the dots and combines customer data by using data science to automatically capture, analyse and surface information that is well suited for customer relationships.

SalesforceIQ for Outlook is claimed to offer joint customers the opportunity to work more intelligently and efficiently.

It builds on a foundation of existing joint solutions, including the Files Connect integration with SharePoint, OneDrive for Business and Skype for Business Integration with Salesforce Lightning Experience.

SalesforceIQ CEO Steve Loughlin said: "Companies deserve a tool that allows them to spend time focusing on what matters most, connecting with their customers.

"SalesforceIQ Inbox supercharges productivity by streamlining tedious tasks that sales reps are inundated with like updating CRM data, scheduling meetings and answering emails."

Salesforce IQ Inbox was originally launched in January for Android and iOS devices, as well as the and Chrome desktop.

Salesforce IQ automatically captures data on the user’s most important sales prospects, making it easy to collaborate with teammates for closing deals rapidly.

The platform works everywhere, whether on a mobile app in a user’s pocket or in their email inbox via a browser extension.

SalesforceIQ helps customers drive more revenue and save vast amount of time.

Last September, Microsoft and Salesforce unveiled plans to extend their partnership to connect the Salesforce Customer Success Platform to Microsoft Office productivity apps and services.

Salesforce plans to deliver a Windows 10 app to allow sales teams to move deals forward while on the go, using their favorite Windows device.

Office 365 users will be allowed to see and identify Salesforce content in Office Delve, like sales opportunities, customer accounts and service cases.
