Salesforce is teaming up with Tata Communications to bolster access routes to its cloud CRM solutions.

The global ‘partner interconnect’ agreement means that Tata Communications’ IZO Private Platform will connect businesses to Salesforce’s Customer Success Platform. This will help to grow Salesforce’s access to its partner’s business clients.

Customers will be access a one-stop-shop for end-to-end management via cloud access for MPLS and Ethernet customers.

The IZO Private cloud is part of the company’s global network platform that is designed for enabling hybrid cloud. It is engineered for routing with private and public cloud and interconnected data centres.

This deal isn’t just a boost to Salesforce, as Tata Communications benefits from growing its platform ecosystem. The ecosystem currently consists of over 20 network providers across 34 countries.

Julie Woods-Moss, CMO & CEO, NextGen Business, Tata Communications, said: "Our recent, independent research confirms that organisations are experiencing benefits they didn’t expect from cloud services and realizing competitive advantages from cloud deployments."

Of course, research citing the benefits of cloud services is nothing new and partnerships like this are likely to reinforce further cloud adoption as businesses find easier access routes to cloud solutions.
