Rosslyn Analytics’ RAPid Big Data Cloud Analytics Platform will now be offered as-a-Service through Microsoft Azure. The platform will provide self-service management to users from source to analytics.
To further enhance its analytics, Rosslyn has added features to its RAPid Big Data Cloud Analytics Platform to enable it to leverage multiple data services and applications which are available on the Azure Marketplace.
These services include Hadoop Insights, Python and R, making it simpler for users as they do not have to buy or code software.
Charles Clark, CEO, Rosslyn Analytics, said: "Traditional data warehousing has failed to keep pace with the ever changing information needs of the business."
"Rosslyn Analytics has addressed the greatest data challenge facing all organizations, which is delivering relevant and high quality data to decision-makers."
The analytics platform which is supported by SQL and Hadoop, is designed for both business users and IT teams. The dual role is enabled due to its architecture which includes a personalised data warehouse in the cloud with write-back capability.
Garth Fort, GM, Cloud & Enterprise Partner Group at Microsoft, said: "Though valuable, simply having a visualization tool to analyse data isn’t enough today."
"Rosslyn Analytics is utilizing Azure to disrupt the business intelligence market built on traditional data warehousing architecture. The company’s RAPid Big Data Cloud Analytics Platform – with embedded integration, cleansing, enrichment, analysis and visualization tools – gives business users the power to be in control of obtaining, improving and managing the relevancy and quality of data required for effective decision-making."
