IT management applications provider Quest Software has introduced a new cloud-based migration application that simplifies migration to Microsoft Office 365 and hosted Exchange.

The new application, Quest OnDemand Migration for Email is built on Microsoft’s Azure platform and suitable for organisations and Managed Service Providers looking to migrate their customers to a hosted platform.

The new release delivers a stress-free migration and new capabilities that empower organisations to take the advantage of the functionality, convenience and cost savings presented by the cloud.

The migration application suite encompasses a range of migration and coexistence applications to eliminate or minimise the risk of email migration projects.

Quest has also enhanced Coexistence Manager for GroupWise, which now supports GroupWise 7 while the new version provides coexistence between GroupWise 7 and Exchange 2010 or Office 365.

GroupWise Migrator for Exchange, which will be available later this quarter, reduces interruptions to business productivity, including the ability to migrate recurring meetings that were created in GroupWise, and resource creation within Active Directory during a migration to Exchange.

Quest’s applications help organisations avoid common mistakes and prepare, migrate, coexist, and manage the process of moving to new versions of technologies including Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, SharePoint, and Windows.
