Progress Software has announced that Mark Armstrong will take the position of VP and managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Progress Software Corporation (NASDAQ: PRGS), is a global software company that aims to simply the development, deployment and management of business applications on any platform or device.
In his new role, Armstrong will be responsible for driving business across the region to ensure its successful growth and the achievement of its business goals.

Boasting more than 25 years of technology and software sales experience, Armstrong has worked in the areas of strategic business development and the development of new market opportunities. Prior to joining Progress Software Corporation in 2008, he was sales and marketing director at LexisNexis Visualfiles and also served as managing director of B2BSolutionsOnline.
