Equinix is collaborating with Global Capacity to help provide direct access to the cloud service providers on Equinix’s Cloud Exchange.
The collaboration will provide access from Global Capacity’s One Marketplace through a direct Ethernet connection, so that enterprises can gain fast access to the eight Equinix International Business Exchange data centres in which Global Capacity resides.
The private Ethernet services mean that customers will be able to bypass the public internet and will be able to access cloud service providers from additional IBX data centres.

The Cloud Exchange has a number of major cloud providers such as AWS, Cisco, Google Cloud Platform, IBM SoftLayer and Microsoft Azure. It is also available in 21 markets globally.
