PowerVPS, a provider of virtualisation and cloud hosting services, has unveiled new cloud hosting packages for small businesses, including startups and established organisations.
The company said that the new cloud server offerings called Fuse, Force and Ignite are designed to help small businesses save money without having to reconfigure IT infrastructure. All cloud servers are hosted within Equinix IBX and CoreSite data centres.
The company said that people looking for a hosting provider for their blog, small business website, or new idea, can use automated tools in the Control Panel for simple setup of services. Setup on web-based applications like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Mambo and osCommerce can be enabled by customers without uploading of files. Additional service categories available in the Control Panel include eCommerce, Wikis, CRM, polls and surveys and updates to installed services are automated.

PowerVPS said Fuse is suitable for customers moving into shared cloud services, with monthly costs starting at $59.95 with 40GB of hard disc space, 8 IP addresses, free setup, unlimited emails and automated Control Panel to manage services.
Force is for businesses needing semi-dedicated services or wanting to upgrade from Fuse, without re-loading data or reconfiguring systems. Monthly costs are $189.95 with 100GB of hard disc space, 5TB of bandwidth transfer, free setup and a Control Panel to manage services.
