Regional based Managed Services Provider outsourceIT has merged with GoBeyondIT, a Cloud Services Provider, with customers in both the SMB and large enterprise market.

The two combined companies have created a privately held Managed/Cloud Service Providers (MSP/CSP) in the United States and the combined entities revenue is greater than $15m with around 70 employees.

The combined company will operate as both outsourceIT and GoBeyondIT. Collectively the companies will provide a full suite of Managed and Cloud services, including Helpdesk, Project Services, Virtual CIO Services, NOC Services, Hosted Desktops (VDI), Hosted Servers, Hosted Applications and VoIP Telephone Services.

In addition, SMB clients are provided with a fully outsourced IT Support Department and its Enterprise clients will be provided with ad hoc services such as Outsourced Helpdesk, Professional Services and Hosted Cloud Services.

The combined company will also build out a Channel Sales Model, which can be white labelled, for other service providers who do not want the expense and headache of building out their own managed or cloud services offering.

outsourceIT CEO Craig Guice, who will continue to serve as CEO, will step down as president and hand over the mantle to his co-founding partner, Mark Vliet, who has recently served as VP and CTO.

GoBeyondIT CEO Richard Crane will become executive vice-president of Corporate Development and GoBeyondIT partner David Webb the executive vice-president of Enterprise and Strategic Accounts.

GoBeyondIT CEO Richard Crane said Cloud Services was an important element in today’s technology footprint, but equally important is the support mechanism needed to support the cloud services.

"By joining forces with outsourceIT, we are able to bring an end-to-end solution to the customer. We felt that we could provide better support to our clients and reach levels of scale that would be difficult had we remained only as GoBeyondIT," said Crane.
