Oracle has released new updates for Oracle Virtual Networking to improve infrastructure performance that offers better connectivity with reduced costs.
The new updates include SPARC M6-32 Server Support, which supports the Fujitsu M10 server and the Oracle Linux and Oracle VM Integration with the Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel Release 2.
The Oracle Virtual Networking is an open architecture data centre fabric that simplifies installations with a wire-once application and simple software defined network configurations.
Oracle Product Development senior vice president Raju Penumatcha said with the latest enhancements in Oracle Virtual Networking, the company continues to help enterprises reduce the complexity in their data centre by expanding software-defined infrastructure capabilities to our extensive portfolio of SPARC servers and Oracle Solaris.
"Customers moving to vitalisation and cloud can reap the benefits from our broad support of servers, OS and hypervisors to achieve business agility from their infrastructure," Penumatcha said.
According to the company, the Oracle Virtual Networking is growing across a wide range of industries and with added support for Oracle’s SPARC servers.
