Oracle is targeting customers in the e-commerce sector with a Commerce Cloud.
The SaaS solution is built for the Oracle Public Cloud and forms part of its Customer Experience applications portfolio.
This will offer recommendations, promotions, reporting, payments and design templates along with SEO and a number of other features that are designed to offer a unified management console.
Ken Volpe, SVP, product development, Oracle, said: "Commerce Cloud is a new, differentiating piece of the broader Oracle CX cloud applications portfolio and helps ensure online businesses no longer have to worry about deploying code, upgrading, and managing day-to-day infrastructure."
Customers will be able to control and modify their sites and preview site experiences with the use of drag and drop tools, before it goes live.
The company stresses its ease of use, with only basic front-end coding skills needed to work with the platform. While its API-first architecture will enable the platform to be extended based on business needs.
