IT and network technologies company NEC has launched its ‘GreenGlobe Data Visualiser,’ a cloud-based service that enables companies to gather and centralise the management of environmental load information, including CO2 emissions, from affiliated sites all over the world.
The new service utilises cloud computing to gather and centralise the management of environmental impact information from multiple locations, including the consumption and emission of energy (electric power, fuel), chemical substances, paper, water, carbon dioxide and waste matter.
The data can be easily accessed, edited and used to develop reports for a variety of specialised purposes, including the support of CSR and government agencies, the company said.
In addition, the public cloud service is available in English, Chinese and Japanese, which enables easy deployment to sites all over the world.
