Momentum, a provider of private label digital voice service to cable operators and municipalities throughout the US, has introduced a operations support service (OSS) and managed services offering for the voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) reseller marketplace.
The company said that the new offering includes web-based software to provision, manage and monitor all services related to cable modem deployments. It also features network management services that include a 24/7 Help Desk and network operations centre (NOC) support.
According to the company, the new system delivers monitoring and provisioning functionality across the entire VoIP and broadband network and is integral with it’s new Carrier-to-Momentum-to-MSO-to-End-user quality monitoring and reporting model.
The OSS includes integrated ordering portal; cloud-based and software-as-a-service offering; comprehensive real-time and historical core network and subscriber reporting; clean and intuitive user interface (UI); redundant clustered network monitoring and provisioning servers; and platform product designed to be modular.
The company is also unveiling a new managed services built around the its OSS platform and network operations centre (NOC) located in Birmingham, to provide complete Network Management from monitoring and alerts to truck rolls; tier 1 help desk/Internet/Voice technical support; tier 2 and NOC support for data and voice; and interface with its OSS.
