Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Microsoft have expanded their global partnership to help organisations better use cloud, mobile, digital and industry applications for enhancing business outcomes.
The companies unveiled their cloud productivity and mobility solution offerings (CPM) for Windows 10.
CPM will provide consulting services for Windows 10, new cloud and mobility consulting services, andindustry-specific vertical apps.
It will integrate HPE services with Microsoft platforms including Enterprise Mobility Suite, Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Office 365, Skype for Business and Windows 10 for the Enterprise.
HPE will use the Microsoft cloud and mobility platform to help enterprises share data faster, increase engagement and collaboration, and optimise work.
The two companies have worked together on Windows 10-based enterprise apps and solutions for healthcare, automotive and other industries. They are now extending it to retail, energy and transportation industries.
Microsoft corporate vice president of enterprise and partner group Susan Hauser said: "Our partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise to deliver Cloud Productivity and Mobility solutions will accelerate our customers’ transformation while enabling them to realize greater business value from Windows 10 and other Microsoft technologies."
Microsoft said it will release the latest version of its cloud-based Dynamics AX enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for business management in the first quarter of 2016. A public preview will be available next month.
Dynamics AX will offer a new user experience that is similar to Microsoft Office and shares data between Dynamics AX, Dynamics CRM and Office 365.
It will combine near-real-time analytics powered by Azure Machine Learning to visualise data via Power BI embedded in the application, in order to give users additional predictive powers.
