Microsoft and Chef have announced a new collaboration to provide automation and DevOps to global enterprises.
Following a year of work to integrate Chef’s IT automation platform with the Microsoft stack, the partnership will help enterprises to move their workloads to the Azure cloud.
Their work will focus on enhancing native automation experiences for Azure, Visual Studio, and Windows PowerShell DSC users.
In addition, Chef will use its expertise to provide DevOps education at Microsoft industry events and enable Microsoft’s field sales organisation to support customers.
