Avanade has seen key UK leadership changes and embraced its business strengths as the company approaches its new financial year.
The business technology solutions and managed services provider has announced the promotion of Pamela Maynard from UK general manager to area president Avanade EALA (Europe, Africa and Latin America).
Julian Tomison, former senior vice president of Service Lines, has been appointed to replace Pamela Maynard as general manager.
Maynard said: "I am looking forward to my new role and would like to congratulate Julian on taking on the UK General Manager position at such an important time.
"It’s been a very exciting year to be part of Avanade UK as the business has grown so much and we’ve seen some strong examples of how we’re helping companies create an environment where people can improve their productivity through the use of technology.
"Under my leadership the UK business has grown 42% and also now includes 326 professionals, working with a range of organisations in the travel, financial services, media and entertainment, utilities, retail and technology industries. In my new role I hope to utilise these UK best practices, as well as capitalising on the strengths of other regions across EALA and help build the Avanade brand in new markets," she said.
Tomison said: "I’m thrilled to take over Avanade UK and continuing to expand the business built under Pamela’s leadership. We have a growing network of high quality consultants and an opportunity to utilise the latest Microsoft technologies through our Work Redesigned approach, which is helping us to deliver real value to our customers."
The company was recently certified as one of Britain’s Top Employers in the 2013 awards for the second consecutive year and was awarded as Microsoft Alliance Partner of the Year 2012.
