Ambitious SMEs have a new tool to help them achieve large-scale growth following the announcement of a specially-designed ERP cloud platform from software provider Infor.
At its Inforum event in New Orleans, the company today announced the launch of Infor CloudSuite Business, boasting a range of improved features and functionalities which should make it a key tool for businesses looking at global expansion.
Primarily, this includes streamlined back-office management and a deep visibility into business facets, from financials, reporting, and human resources to supply chain, project, sales, and customer relationship management.
Using state-of-the-art big data tools, companies will also be able to access and use real-time analytics to pinpoint strengths or weaknesses, gifting executives and managers valuable business intelligence on both desktop and mobile devices.
Infor, which has around 73,000 customers in more than 200 countries worldwide, says the new platform, built on its existing cloud offering and available on Amazon Web Services (AWS) thanks to a long-running partnership between the two companies, will help small businesses experiencing major surges in growth, such as those in the mechanical or fashion industries.
"Strategic decision-making is essential for any business. Next-generation companies thrive when agility and visibility combine with global operations capabilities and analytics that maximize all portions of the balance sheet," said Stephan Scholl, president of Infor.
"Infor CloudSuite Business combines the flexible, secure, and reliable infrastructure of Infor’s cloud technology with robust business management functionality that allows companies to see the impact of business transactions in real-time, as well as the trends that may affect the business tomorrow."
The announcement comes alongside the company’s launch of Infor Xi, its brand new technology platform which it says will help develop and build the next generation of mobile apps.
