Software Product engineering and software R&D services provider Impetus Technologies is planning to launch a new cloud-enabled Mobile Test Automation Tool, mAutomate.
The new tool will enable customers to test their mobile applications on local or geographically dispersed devices and networks.
The cloud-enabled mobile test automation tool will integrate with the client application in such a manner that allows the tool to instrument the entire application and make it testable.
mAutomate’s push-based mechanism executes test cases on remote devices connected through the cloud, in multiple geographies from a single location.
It also furnishes comprehensive test execution reports with details such as performance numbers, battery statistics and screen shots.
It new tool offers distinct features such as record once, execute on multiple devices and provides a web-based infrastructure for test suite management.
Impetus Business Development vice-president Anand Raman said the complexity of mobile applications is growing along with the new tablets, smartphones, and their enhanced device capabilities.
"Impetus mAutomate enables faster time to market and its cloud-enabled infrastructure maximizes the test coverage — both in terms of geographies and devices," said Raman.
