IBM partnered with Ionic to provide prototype apps in minutes for enterprise integration and have ready access to open source technology to accelerate mobile app development.
The companies will combine IBM‘s MobileFirst Platform, through Bluemix, its big data platform, with Ionic’s drag-and-drop app design capabilities.
The aim is to reduce complexity and tap into powerful analytics, management and security capabilities.
Securely connect to back-end systems and work quickly through heavy app backlogs are among promised functions..
