Infor, a provider of business app software, has been selected by Gloucester Engineering, a plastic extrusion and converting company, to implement Infor’s ERP SyteLine Software.

Gloucester will utilise the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) subscription model to benefit from the scalability, risk reduction and longevity offered through the cloud.

In addition, ERP SyteLine’s intuitive user interface and Infor ION integration capabilities will allow Gloucester to manage its business processes, CRM, sales, financials and mixed mode manufacturing.

Infor ERP SyteLine provides a single data repository so users can access real-time and consistent information.

Gloucester Engineering finance vice-president Adrian King said IT infrastructure is a cost centre within their organisation and they do not want to grow exponentially as they put in new systems.

"Infor ERP SyteLine’s SaaS model gives us the scalability to support future growth without forcing us to increase our IT and administrative costs. Having data in the cloud enables us to focus on our core business and leave system and hardware administration and backup to Infor," King said.
