Gale Technologies, a provider of software offerings, has introduced the GaleForce Turnkey Cloud offering, which allows customers to convert their existing IT infrastructure into a private or hybrid cloud environment.

The new offering provides composite automation and orchestration that allows provisioning of bare metal and virtual resources that enable organisations to run all of their apps, virtualised or not, in the cloud.

The offering converts existing IT infrastructure into cloud environment in two steps: operators first populate the GaleForce inventory with the IT resources that will be managed by the GaleForce resource adaptors; and then select the appropriate service templates from the predefined templates list to populate the self-service portal, said the company.

The GaleForce Turnkey Cloud benefits include: composite automation and orchestration in private and public clouds; guaranteed resource availability in a shared, dynamic environment; quick cloud deployment; and support for legacy and heterogeneous environments.

Gale Technologies marketing vice-president Garima Thockchom said their ability to provision a composite stack of bare metal, virtual and software resources allows organisations to reuse their existing and legacy IT equipment to build dynamic clouds that can run any workload — virtualised as well as non-virtualised.

"The GaleForce Turnkey Cloud takes these benefits a step further by enabling the speedy deployment of a private or hybrid cloud without the cost, complexity and lengthy implementation cycles of typical cloud deployment offerings," Thockchom said.
