Fujitsu has enhanced its applications for the Microsoft Private Cloud Fast Track programme for building private clouds.

Microsoft Private Cloud Fast Track is a programme where Microsoft and selected hardware providers jointly test hardware and software configurations optimsed for private clouds.

The new enhancements to the applications incorporate the new version of Fujitsu’s dynamic resource management software, ServerView Resource Orchestrator, as well as PRIMERGY servers and System Center 2012.

The new applications will provide organisations with the servers, storage, networking equipment and management software they need to build a private cloud, all of which have been validated for Microsoft environments and come pre-configured.

Fujitsu is offering customers a reference architecture and application built on Microsoft’s technologies, including Windows Server, Windows Server Hyper-V and System Center.

The hardware and software offered as part of the Fujitsu’s new application includes PRIMERGY BX900 blade server system and ETERNUS storage systems, as the flexible data safe offering a complete range of efficient and high performance storage.

The ServerView Resource Orchestrator and Fujitsu’s dynamic resource-management software are combined to provide the stability, system scalability and ensure flexible resource use and management.

Fujitsu also delivers the hardware pre-configured and the operating system and software pre-installed and preset, the implementation workload for system deployment is minimised. This allows users to operate their systems in a stable manner.
