British cloud and business internet provider Exponential-e has appointed Paul Brown as the vice president of the company’s US channel operations.

Brown will be responsible in establishing and strengthening partnerships with US telecommunication and cloud operators, to help the company expand internationally.

Other responsibilities of Brown include leading a team to help organisations based overseas to expand into the UK without having to invest in their own points of presence (POPs) and facilities.

Before joining Exponential-e Brown was the vice president of sales at Terremark.

Previously, he also served as the vice president of data services for Arbinet, and was the vice president of channel programmes and customer support at Sprint International.

Brown has more than two decades of experience in working in the technology industry and has reportedly run successful channel programmes for voice and data services in the US.

Brown said: "Using my deep understanding of both the direct and indirect international sales process, I look forward to supporting Exponential-e as it enters its next stage of growth.

"The company has a reputation for being at the forefront of innovation and I am confident that my experience in leading sales, support, customer service and product development teams, will enable me to deliver the value-based selling that will allow Exponential-e to advance forward on a global stage."
