The Newport, Rhode Island-based Early Cloud & Company has announced CallFlow, its distributed call centre automation software for companies building enterprise-wide customer service applications. Designed initially for IBM Corp systems running the CICS monitor and the MVS operating system, CallFlow consists of several modules, says the company. The CallFlow core module, which provides application generation and work flow management; the Data Voice Bridge module, which provides computer telephony integration for handling in- and outbound-calls; and the Forms Generator fulfilment module, which enables users to provide letters, invoices and the like and which can incorporate customer-specific information captured during a call. For in-bound functionality, the Data Voice Bridge module reportedly enables simultaneous data/voice transfer and intelligent answering service, such as Automatic number Identification and Dialled Number Identification Services. Outbound features include speed and predictive dialling. Early Cloud says it will also be delivering CallFlow on additional CICS systems, such as IBM AIX and OS/2, in the future, although no time-scale was set. CallFlow is shipping now; the company did not give prices.
