Dell EMC is looking to tap into the Microsoft Azure Stack ecosystem by offering a hybrid cloud platform that should make it easy to deploy and sustain a deployment.
The turnkey hybrid cloud platform, called Dell EMC Cloud for Microsoft Azure Stack, is said to offer a fast path for implementing and sustaining a hybrid cloud based on the Azure Stack by standardising on the Azure ecosystem.
Peter Cutts, senior vice president, Hybrid Cloud Platforms, Dell EMC, said: “Making hybrid cloud platforms simple and turnkey enables businesses to rapidly develop and deploy new applications, optimize resources, control costs and deliver the best possible customer experiences.”
The move is the latest in a long line from the company with a focus on providing solutions for hybrid cloud deployments. Dell EMC already offers turnkey platforms such as its Enterprise Hybrid Cloud, and Native Hybrid Cloud, both of which offer integrated hardware, software and automation.
The company is aiming to make the most of the booming demand for hybrid cloud solutions. The recent IDC Cloudview survey found that 79.7% of large organisations already have a hybrid cloud strategy, while 51.4% say that they already use both public and private cloud infrastructure resources.

The Dell EMC Cloud for Microsoft Azure will be available in the second half of 2017.
