Cloud Distribution has signed flash memory solution maker Memblaze to sell its products through partners via its dedicated storage division.

Memblaze makes high performance PCIe flash memory solutions, with the storage vendor said to widen market opportunity for partners while enabling customers to more effectively utilise its software.

According to Cloud, Memblaze provides high-performance solid state storage solutions at low prices, which will make the service more accessible to customers.

Cloud’s dedicated storage and virtualisation division will be delivering Memblaze solutions, and will be joining the company’s storage portfolio of next-generation storage vendors including Talon, DataCore, Storage, NexGen and Maxta.

Cloud Distribution Storage director Bruce Hockin said: "We believe Memblaze offers partners significant sales prospects."

"Not only is it faster than anything I’ve seen in the market, it’s also a highly scalable, industrial-strength solution at a price point that delivers meaningful ROI for customers."

"It is a simple product that solves a simple challenge – keeping up with the demand of high speed data processing at an affordable price."

Cloud Distribution inaugurated its new storage unit back in November 2014 and hired Bruce Hockin and Grant Reddin to head the division.
