Consulting, technology and outsourcing services provider Capgemini has launched its IBX Spend Capture Cloud offering to help customers enhance their procurement processes using an easy to deploy cloud offering.

The new cloud offering streamlines the procurement process and allows organisations to capture the benefit of on-line spending by implementing contracts, monitoring procurement KPIs and offering the best procurement choices to track all costs across products and services.

The new offering provides improved contract compliance, integrates all major eProcurement systems, links contracts to operational processes and combines a consumer-like experience with scalability for global roll-outs.

The offering will be available across United States, the UK, France, Germany, Netherlands and the Nordic countries.

IBX Spend Capture Cloud includes IBX’s Content Platform for content management, IBX Search Engine, IBX Procurement Intelligence, IBX Supplier Network and IBX eRequest and with the IBX Platform, Capgemini offers a complete procurement suite that delivers 100% on-demand delivery, hybrid delivery.

IBX Spend Capture Cloud is connected to an on-premise eProcurement offering and finally the ability to build and run businesses’ procurement suites on-premise behind firewalls.

Capgemini Procurement Services vice president Pontus Björnsson said Capgemini is excited about the launch of the IBX Spend Capture Cloud.

"Struggling with bad usability and low levels of spend through eProcurement will now be history. The IBX Spend Capture Cloud will enable customers to truly improve their compliance and increase bottom line cost savings," said Björnsson.
