Barracuda Networks, a provider of content security, data protection and application delivery offerings, has doubled the amount of cloud storage available to Barracuda Backup Service customers at the same flat-rate price.
The new cloud storage pricing features 200GB of storage for £35 per month. This includes unlimited backup and restore bandwidth, said the company.
Barracuda Backup Service general manager Guy Suter said data usage is increasing quickly while IT budgets are falling under considerable pressure.
"Barracuda Networks is once again raising the bar on storage requirements and deliverables. We make the choice simple for customers transitioning from old tapes to modern backup technology by doubling the cloud storage available for the same low cost," Suter added.
The company said that the Barracuda Networks pricing difference allows all customers, regardless of size, to benefit from the cloud’s scale with a single low flat-rate storage price.
Barracuda Networks’ cloud storage efficiently stores two copies of de-duplicated customer data in addition to a third copy at the customer’s own site, said the company.
The increased storage amount is immediately available to both new and current Barracuda Backup Service customers.
