Collaboration service provider Arkadin and Vidyo, a cloud-based video communication provider, have released a video conferencing solution, improving video conferencing calls for users.

The ArkadinVideo service, which integrates the VidyoWorks and Arkadin platforms, should help users to engage in video calls that are reliable, secure and ‘life-like’.

Its users can also add their own logo and branding thanks to the solution’s edible interface.

Mark Alexander, president of Arkadin in North America, said: "Our channel partners have been asking for this and we’re confident it will be a profitable component of their collaboration portfolio."

Other features include nine simultaneous video displays on one screen and Vidyo’s patented Scalable Video Coding [SVC]-based platform, which adapts images to any network.

Vidyo’s next-generation platform enables desktop and mobile users as well as the more traditional room-based system offering significant advantages for channel partners and end users.

David Maldow, analyst at the Human Productivity Lab, said: "Cloud-based visual collaboration technologies are fundamentally redefining the video conferencing market.

"The reliability, ease-of-use and affordability of today’s cutting edge solutions result in compelling productivity tools for businesses of all sizes to offer their entire workforces."
