Wireless security applications provider AirTight Networks has unveiled a user configurable HTML5 UI as part of its AirTight Wi-Fi access application.

The new UI will enable network administrators to create the optimal WLAN management console for their individual business requirements.

It also allows users to customise dashboards, create location-based management and custom reporting. These diagnostic tools improve IT efficiency and minimises resolution time for WLAN performance issues.

The company has added fully customisable dashboards into the UI to allow users define exactly what information they want to see.

AirTight’s fully user configurable HTML5 UI also encompasses a palette of widgets which provide a wide variety of statistics to drill down for information on an AP, a client or the entire network.

AirTight Product Management vice president Jatin Parekh said the HTML5 UI simplifies wireless LAN administration.

"The new configurable UI makes management of a large Wi-Fi network a simple process, even as new installations are added or maintenance personnel change," Parekh said.

The company also launched cloud-managed, enterprise-class 802.11n Wi-Fi access solution embedded with wireless intrusion detection and prevention (WIPS) in a single AP platform.
