UK managed services provider and cloud integrator Adapt has partnered with Alert Logic to provide Adapt customers with a suite of security services to protect their businesses against cyber threats.
Alert Logic is a cloud based Security-as-a-Service solution provider, which offers security solutions including the Alert Logic Cloud Defender suite.
Adapt is planning to integrate Alert’s Cloud Defender suite into Habitat , a tiered, fluid software-defined application ecosystem by Adapt, which will allow the company to provide proactive security and compliance protection to its customer workloads and applications.
Alert Logic Cloud Defender is a managed security-as-a-service which will be available to Adapt customers through OPEX based monthly subscription.
It is capable of providing real-time monitoring and alerting of suspicious activity and threats across a customer’s network, systems and application layers, and provides big data security analytics and deep security threat intelligence research.
Adapt Strategy and Architecture Director Kevin Linsell said: "Working with Alert Logic, we are able to offer our customers a fully managed security service wrapped around our Habitat offering, providing our customers with the most up-to-date security content, monitoring and protection.
"This means our customers can enable their internal IT staff to focus on business critical projects, rather than having to become security experts."

Adapt also highlighted that by partnering with Alert the company has become Europe’s first service provider to deliver an advanced set of security services fully integrated into their service portfolio.
