Cap Gemini Sogeti’s UK subsidiary, CGS UK, will provide software worth over UKP1m for a command and control system for the Hong Kong Fire Service; the software, which will run IBM’s System/88 fault-tolerant hardware bought in from Stratus – will enable operators to make more informed, efficient decisions, when dealing with emergency calls.
