Struggling minimaker Geac Canada Ltd, Markham, Ontario now has definitive agreement for sale of its Canadian Financial Software business to Co-operators Services Ltd for the equivelent of $8.75m, and Co-operators will become Geac’s distributor for its hardware and other services to the Canadian financial market and will take on Geac’s service bureau operations, client contract and associated staff.
