Canoga Park, California based Dak Industries Inc is responding to the crash in personal computer hardware prices with a new deal buy the software and we’ll throw the hardware in few: the company has put together a $1,500 super software bundle that it claims has a total retail value of $3,846 and with it is giving away its BSR 386SX desktop computer; the Exclusive Software Collection includes Microsoft’s new Word for Windows 2.0, Borland’s Quattro Pro 3.0 and Paradox 3.5, Microsoft’s Windows 3.0,Adobe Type Manager 2.0, Reference Software’s Grammatik for Windows, Borland’s ObjectVision 2.0, Norton Desktop for Windows, Microsoft Productivity Pack; Software Toolworks’ World Atlas for Windows and US At-as for Windows; Software Toolworks Desk Reference and ChessMaster for Windows, Microsoft’s MS-DOS 5.0; GEM Artline; SoftKey’s KeyChart 2000; and Ainsworth Keyboard/Keypad Trainer; the computer has 16MHz 80386SX, 14 SuperVGA colour monitor, 40Mb disk and 1Mb of memory.
