Westborough, Massachusetts-based Banyan Systems Inc has implemented its Enterprise Network Services for the latest version of Hewlett-Packard Co’s Unix operating system, HP-UX 10. Enterprise Network Services for HP-UX version 2.1 is a combination of Banyan’s StreetTalk directory services and Intelligent Messaging, enabling users to manage network resources on a heterogenous hardware and software network. Enterprise Network Services 2.1 offers support for FFDI and includes new utilities to improve file sharing between Unix servers and personal computers. The product is available but no prices were given.
