Florida-based Fidelity National Information Services (FIS), a provider of processing and technology solutions for financial institutions, has announced that Bank of Virginia has selected FIS’ BancPac core processing solution. It is chosen in conjunction with other integrated FIS solutions, including item image capture, item processing and statement rendering.

FIS claims that BancPac can be integrated with a suite of modules designed to expedite new account origination, as well as create and maintain a sales culture throughout the bank. By leveraging existing hardware systems and true client-server technology, BancPac is expected to deliver cost-effective systems for core bank processing.

James Susoreny, Executive Vice President, FIS, said: “The unique BancPac infrastructure, open architecture and ease of integration make it a perfect fit for a financial institution such as Bank of Virginia – one that is committed to providing unmatched service to its customers.”

Chartered in 2002, the Bank of Virginia is a service-centered financial institution serving in the communities of Chesterfield and Henrico counties, through five full-service branches.
