SunSoft Inc has alsi agreed to license the ONC+ version o its Open Network Computing technology to several leading computer manufacturers. These include Fujitsu Ltd, Samsung Electronics Co Ltd, Sony Corp, Toshiba Corp and Cray Research Inc. This means that the transport-independent remote procedure call library will become available on hardware ranging from personal computers to supercomputers. ONC+ has also been adopted for use in the Common Open Software Environment and is licensed by the Santa Cruz Operation Inc and Unix System Laboratories Inc.
