Apple Computer Inc launched Apple Macintosh Hardware System Update Version 2.0 and Apple Macintosh System Enabler Collection 1.0: the system update is claimed to improve overall reliability, manages fonts in memory more efficiently, addresses possible floppy and hard disk problems and corrects some colour problems; the enabler collection consists of a single floppy disk containing all system enabler files released between October 1992 and May 1993 and enables creation of a single Macintosh system folder to start any Macintosh system; both are free to registered Mac users.
