The Open Software Foundation may be looking for bogeymen where there are none. It is blaming an unidentified software vendor for its trouble with the Federal Trade Commission. But our best information says that it was turned in by a hardware vendor. Naturally Sun Microsystems Inc and AT&T Co spring immediately to mind.
