According to the company, its Webalo Mobile Dashboard will allow mobile workers to receive data in a format that is easy to read and navigate. Users can view and interact with information such as customer data, order status, inventory lists, key performance indicators and other vital business intelligence, which makes it easier to answer questions, support decisions, and close deals on the spot.
According to the company, the Webalo Mobile Dashboard is available for $25 per month per device and is compatible with Alltel smartphones including all BlackBerry models running operating system Version 4.0 or above, HTC PPC 6800, Motorola Q9c, and all devices running Java using the MIDP 2.0 and CLDC 1.1 standards.
David Maddox, vice president of product marketing at Alltel, said: The business environment is moving at an increasing speed, and Alltel understands how critical it is for mobile workers to be connected with enterprise resources.
Webalo technology transforms enterprise applications and data, to make them compatible with mobile devices. The data turns such devices into alternatives to desktop, laptop, and palmtop computer hardware. The Webalo Mobile Dashboard Service is available both as a hosted service and as a behind-the-firewall appliance and enables the user interface with BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Palm, Symbian, or Java-enabled smartphone.
