Aldus Corp’s announcement turned out to be only that it will introduce Aldus PageMaker 5.0 in versions for Microsoft Corp’s Windows and Apple Computer Inc’s Macintosh during the first half of the year: it will cost $900 and will improve precision and control and integration with other software and hardware; European and Pacific Rim versions will follow at a later date.
