LeanFT, a functional test automation solution to aid continuous testing has been announced by HP.

The solution is aimed at allowing software developers and testers to leverage continuous testing and delivery methodologies to build, test and deliver secure applications.

LeanFT is designed to fit into existing ecosystems such as Microsoft TFS, GIT and Subversion. It also offering test automation authoring with either C# or Java as well as IDE integration.

The solution offers multiple tools including Object Identification Centre which will automatically generate code and abstraction models for applications under test.

Project templates include NUnit, MSTest and JUnit which are designed to improve collaboration between developers and test automation engineers.

The overall goal of this solution and these tools is to provide a reduction in time for testing and development in the lifecycle to speed the time to market.
