Working with Schneider’s supply chain services team, Optiant will redesign its European logistics infrastructure around the six DC’s. Its ‘PowerChain’ suite will enable Schneider to establish a framework for determining what and how much inventory to stock and where.
Optiant says its ‘PowerChain’ software is designed to help companies with multi-echelon distribution networks achieve higher service levels while simultaneously reducing inventory. Schneider Electric expects a dramatic return-on-investment since implementing Optiant’s inventory planning and optimization solution suite.
