General Automation Inc is clearly close to the edge, and the Anaheim, California Pick-popper has now received a qualified opinion from its auditors, Coopers & Lybrand, on its financial statements for fiscal 1988 to June 30: the auditors cited the loss for the last financial year, and said that its working capital and other deficiencies raise doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern; the General has been making strenuous efforts to find new sources of finance, and despite setbacks, has not completely given up hope of getting together with its Irvine Orange County neighbour, Syfa specialist WesPac Technologies Corp.
