Bellevue, Washington-based Esterline Technologies Inc has sold its Hollis Automation Co unit to a subsidiary of Cookson Group Plc here in the UK on undisclosed terms: Hollis is based in Nashua, New Hampshire, and also has a manufacturing operation in Kent and makes wave soldering and cleaning equipment; Esterline’s involvement in the printed circuit board industry will now focus on the manufacture of automated production equipment used in board fabrication.
