Unitrends has announced a new channel reward scheme to boost sales in EMEA.
The all-in-one backup and recovery provider today announced the formal launch of its UniRewards programme, which is hopes to bring in more income by incentivising resellers.
Every new sales lead registered earns $100 from the firm, even if it does not lead to a sale, while more cash is offered if the deal is closed.
Sales partners can also benefit from up to 35% discounts on registered deals, while their margins are protected by Unitrends for registered deals of more than 180 days – meaning Unitrends will pay the registered portion of the margin to the reseller that engaged a sale in the first place even if they lose the deal to a competitor.
Resellers will also be encouraged to learn more about Unitrends products – those with trained technical resources who can provide support can claim an extra 5% discount.
Kevin Moreau, MD for the EMEA region, said: "Unitrends is poised for tremendous success in the backup and recovery market.
"I will be working hard to recruit channel partners to extend Unitrends’ existing high-growth strategy into the EMEA market.
"We want our partners to know that we are committed to their success, just as they are a crucial part of ours. UniRewards was designed with simplicity and transparency in mind, to give back to the companies that enable us to be successful on a daily basis."
Unitrends, which recently opened a new office in Germany, claims 2012 has been its best year yet, with 104% growth in channel sales compared to 2011 and 198% growth in value-added reseller accounts, with 200 new accounts signed.
