Enterprise software firm SAP has unveiled a new version of Business ByDesign on-demand business software suite, which it claims to provide mid-size customers with in-memory analytics, support for mobile devices, and enhanced usability through customised reports, forms and user-interfaces.
The company said that the new version allows customers to analyse corporate data in real time and access and manipulate it in Microsoft Excel, while the support for mobile devices helps customers to stay connected with their business while working remotely.
According to SAP, the new enhanced client user interface offers business advantages through simplified navigation, interactive graphics, Microsoft Office integration and personalisation. The model-based UI also enables integration of mash-ups to extend the user interface with external services and content sources.
In addition, the new version supports single and multi-tenancy topologies, with multi tenancy concept engineered for customer and partner specific business extensions, business configuration and all kind of UI, report and forms flexibility, the company said.
