MicroStrategy, a provider of business intelligence (BI) software, has introduced a new BI application accelerator Jump-Start, which enables organisations to build MicroStrategy reports and dashboards.
The company claims that the new offering delivers a fast and easy way to get started with MicroStrategy. Jump-Start comes with 25 reports and 9 dashboards, as well as all underlying business metrics, filters, attributes, and dimensions.
In addition, the new offering also allows organisations to add their data and typically within several hours, they will have a full-featured MicroStrategy BI application, the company said.
MicroStrategy is also hosting a free workshop to help users to learn how to build dashboard prototypes; create a MicroStrategy application to share with colleagues; and accelerate BI architecting steps by using pre-built objects, including transformations, prompts, filters, and metrics.
Kerri Bednarchuk, IT-BI project manager at Kwik Trip, said: Within a few hours, Jump-Start can provide our business users with actionable reports and dashboards for detailed insights into sales and operational trends. It is also easy to extend the application to include more dashboards, reports, and metrics to support our full BI application needs.
