Kroll Ontrack, a provider of data recovery products and services, has released a Data Recovery Portal for Apple customers. Through Ontrack Data Recovery services, the company offers data recovery services for Apple customers with Mac systems, servers, applications, files, operating systems as well as iPod and iPhone devices.
Kroll Ontrack said that it will work with Apple’s Service Providers to provide data recovery service to Apple customers. Apple Service Providers will have access to the new customized web portal to register data recovery jobs for their customers in real time.
Once the data recovery job is registered through the portal, customers will receive automated updates directly from Kroll Ontrack, the company said
According to Kroll Ontrack, the new portal also provides: evaluation and detailed file report defining which files can be recovered; and job tracking through access to Ontrack Online.
The company said that it has recently released an enhanced suite of data recovery technology for both MacMail and Microsoft Entourage e-mail as well as data recovery capabilities for Apple Xsan 2 clustered file system for Mac OS X.
