The storage system is expected to be deployed in the agency’s video surveillance program. The initial order is for $100,000 and calls for 96Tb of storage. The platform is expected to more than triple to over 300Tb.
According to IceWEB, the Inline TE 246 is expected to be designed to deliver maximum data throughput for high bandwidth video and other data intensive applications. This high performance storage system combines fiber channel connectivity with serial attached SCSI and serial ATA drive technology.
