Facebook’s official iOS application does not have the capability of managing pages so the company has launched a separate Pages Managers application.
Page administrators can now download the app in order to manage their pages via Apple mobile devices.
The new mobile app functions like the Facebook mobile application but with additional features for page management while allowing users to perform all the general Facebook interactions.
Pages manager allows an administrator to interact with their audience and manage multiple pages from one mobile application.
Facebook’s pages manager app also gives push notification when any interactions happen on a page, allowing businesses to engage with fans quickly.
Another useful feature on the Facebook Pages manager app is that it allows to page administrators to access their insights page anywhere. Users can see how many likes and views a page receives as well as its overall reach.
The mobile application is only available for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad for now; it also requires iOS 4.2 or later.
The pages manager is available for free on the iTunes App store.
